Olivia Mina
Hi, I'm Olivia, a second year student studying Journalism at City, University of London.
In particular I have a passion for film and photography. I have studied, written about and worked within these industries and now, at the age of 19, I look forward to expanding my knowledge and skills in these areas.
I am currently living in London but originally I am from Manchester. This portfolio is an opportunity for me to showcase my work. I do hope you enjoy.

I write a blog that focuses on one of my main passions, film.
Keep it regularly updated and in line with new film releases/ topics in the film industry.
Ensure my engagement is as high as possible by promoting on social media platforms
UNIVERSITY BASED WORK
September 2017 - Present
Collated a range of skills that have allowed to to produce a variety of work outcomes: online content, written content, audio and visual work.
Working in studios and creating pieces within deadlines, especially on News Day, has provided me with the confidence and skills I feel are required to transfer these particular tasks over to a professional environment.
I am also currently learning shorthand, which is both a highly interesting and valuable skill to attain.
SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTION
2015 - Present
Taken over the role of controlling all social media platforms, including Twitter and Instagram.
This job was highly useful as it gave me a greater understanding into how to attract an audience using on of the most popular platforms of today.
The role also required me to set up various events and promote job positions available.
